I love this pendant for the contrast between the bold black oval frame and warm amber glass. The black metal gives the fitting a strong architectural presence, while the amber glass adds warmth and softens the overall look.
The inverted-oval silhouette makes it more interesting than a conventional four-light pendant, giving it a sculptural quality without becoming overly decorative.
With four E27 bulbs, I would choose warm decorative bulbs to bring out the colour of the amber glass and create a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere above a dining table or kitchen island.
