Delivery
Our team endeavor to dispatch the order with 2-5 working days. However, during the festival seasons or fraigile items specially chandeliers may take longer time to arrive. If you do need the order in particular time, please feel free to call us or leave a note when you place the order. We send products all over New Zealand using ‘signature required’ courier. If you are not at home, the courier company will not leave the parcel at your front door. Please advise us if you would like the parcel left somewhere safe. (e.g., the back door). If you see the box is out of shape. Please open parcels to check the items before you sign, and if any damages have occurred during shipping, please DO NOT sign and take photos for further evidence.
Damaged goods must be notified within 24 Hours. Please KEEP the original goods packaging if you intend to claim any damage.
**Special Condition for free shipping for order over $299, excludes Rural deliveries.
1.Product must be sold at listed price.
2.Product must be an in stock item, not a pre-order item.
3.Sale must be completed at once.
4.Payment must be paid in full at the time of purchase.
5.If customer wants to refund or exchange, standard shipping rate will be deducted from the purchase price.
6.Rural delivery: $299 free delivery offer does not apply. Rural deliveries will incur an additional charge of $10 for every $100 spent. If you do have a Rural Delivery address but do not indicate this we will be unable to dispatch your order.
7. Some large items and are not included in the free delivery promotion. Please check the decription in the product page.
Payment
Payment can be made by internet banking, cash and eftpos are accepted if collecting from our premises.
We accept credit card (Visa/ Master card) payment only when the purchase is over $30. When paying by credit card in store, 3% surcharge fee applies.
Lay-by is also available with conditions. Lay-by is available only when the purchase is over $100. A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total amount must be made. The payment must be completed within 2 months after the deposit. Once lay-by order is placed, refund and exchange policy applies which any claim for exchange must be made within 30 days and refund must be made within 7 days.
Warranty
All electrical products sold by EDEN LIGHT Company Ltd come with a warranty. The specific warranty periods are as follows (from the date of purchase):
Domestic Use Warranty
- LED Downlights: 3 years
- Built-in LED Lights: 2 years
- LED Light Bulbs & Lamp Shades: 6 months
- Other Products: 1 year
Commercial Use Warranty
- LED Downlights: 1 year
- Built-in LED Lights: 6 months
- LED Light Bulbs & Lamp Shades: 3 months
- Other Products: 6 months
Coverage: The warranty covers electrical wiring, lamp holders, LED chips, LED drivers, and all related electrical parts.
Exclusions: Damage from misuse, fading, rust, or molding is not covered. No warranty is provided for incandescent, filament, or halogen light bulbs.
Eden Light is a New Zealand registered company. All of our lighting products are officially tested and certified in laboratories under NZ/AU standards. And we carry all applicable SDoC and compliance certificates required under New Zealand Law. We provide SDoC to customers on request.
To make a warranty claim please proceed by emailing us and providing us with your receipt number or Trademe auction number and the problem with the product. We will then advise you of the next step, depending on the product inquestion. We will not cover customers’ electrician fees in any circumstances.
Photo colour may vary or distort on different computer/device and measurement is "about" and maybe not very accurate. Using different colour light bulb may change the colour of the light and shade too. So any colour difference will not be consider as defaced product.

Exchange Policy
We are happy to do an exchange for you.
In order to do exchange, goods must be returned to the shop you purchased (Online order return to Manukau shop) with original receipt in the original condition, including the packaging, within 14 days of the date you received your order. Return freight is at the purchaser’s cost.
Exchange to store credits or gift cards are also available on request. Store credits or gift cards to be redeemed within two years.
Refund policy
Please choose carefully as we do not offer full refund for any item bought online or in store. We charge a 25% restocking fee on all returns.
Goods must be returned to the shop you purchased (Online order return to Manukau shop) with original receipt in the original condition, including the packaging, within 7 days of the date you received your order. Freight cost is not refundable. Return freight is at the purchaser’s cost.
This policy also applies to the deposit of holding the goods. 25% restocking fee will be charged on the whole order. No refund of the whole order after 7 days of deposit paid.
Online transfer refund will be made within 3 working days.
Shopify payment and Paypal refund will take upto 10 working days.
Store credit purchase can only be refunded as store credit.
Clearance, Factory second, and special custom made items are not refundable, not exchangeable. Labour cost is not refundable.
Any item that has been installed or modified is not refundable, not exchangeable
In the case of damaged or faulty products, we would seek for the replacement. If we are able to resend the products in a reasonable length of time frame and you don’t want this service, you could apply for a refund. Change your mind policy apply.
Special custom made order
50% of deposit is needed for placing your order. Deposit is not refundable.
Free storage service
Be afraid of loss, damage of lighting before the installation? We are happy to provide free storage for our customers. Please tell our friendly staff when you need them, we will keep them safe until your house is ready for installation. This service is totally free. By having this service, you are entering into an agreement that the Change your mind Policy won’t apply. If you can’t pick up the order at the nominated date, we can automatically extend the free storage service for up to 30 days.

At Eden Lighting, we have the widest range at the best prices in the market. And we won't be beaten on price! If you happen to find a cheaper price, we will beat it and match the price. We price match all local retail competitors, and the product must be the identical model in its original packaging, and a standard stocked item at both our store and the competitor’s store at the time of the price comparison. To be eligible for our Best Price Guarantee, proof of the competitor’s current advertised price is required.
