Terms and Conditions

Delivery

We aim to dispatch orders within 2–5 working days. During busy seasons or for fragile items (e.g., chandeliers), delivery may take longer. If you require delivery by a specific date, please contact us or leave a note with your order.

We ship all orders across New Zealand via signature-required courier. If you are not home, parcels will not be left unattended. Please advise if you want parcels left in a safe place (e.g., back door).

Please inspect packages before signing. If the box is damaged, do not sign, and take photos for evidence. Damaged goods must be reported within 24 hours. Keep original packaging if you intend to claim damage.

Free shipping conditions for orders (excludes rural deliveries):

  • Product must be sold at the listed price and in stock (no pre-orders).
  • Sale must be completed in one transaction with full payment.
  • Standard shipping cost will be deducted if refund or exchange is requested.
  • Rural deliveries incur an additional $10 per $100 spent.
  • Some items are excluded from free shipping (check product page for details).

Payment

We accept internet banking, cash, and EFTPOS for in-store collection.
Credit card (Visa/Mastercard) payments with a 2% surcharge for in-store purchases.

Lay-by is available for purchases over $100 with a 30% non-refundable deposit. Full payment must be completed within 2 months. Refunds/exchanges for lay-by items follow our standard policy (exchange claims within 30 days, refunds within 7 days).

All electrical products come with a manufacturer’s warranty from the purchase date:

Warranty covers electrical parts such as wiring, lamp holders, LED chips, and drivers. Damage from misuse, rust, fading, or molding is excluded. Incandescent, filament, and halogen bulbs are not covered.

All products comply with NZ/AU standards and carry required certification. Warranty claims require proof of purchase and product details. We do not cover electrician fees.


Change of Mind & Exchange Policy

Eligible items may be exchanged within 14 days of receipt if returned in original condition with receipt and packaging to the purchase store (online orders to Manukau store). Return shipping is at the customer’s cost. If the replacement item needs to be shipped, the customer will be responsible for the shipping costs.

Exchange to store credit or gift card are available and valid for two years.

Exchanges involving price differences:

  • Replacement item must be at least 75% of the original purchase price. In such cases, balance amount will be refunded, no restocking fee will be charged.
  • If replacement item is below 75% of the original purchase price., customers can choose:
    • Full balance amount as store credit, or
    • Partial refund after deducting replacement item price and applying a 25% restocking fee on the balance amount.

Refund Policy

Refunds are subject to a 25% restocking fee and must be returned within 7 days in original condition with receipt and packaging. Return freight and shipping costs are non-refundable and borne by the customer.

If free shipping was applied at the time of purchase, the shipping cost originally charged to us will be deducted from the refund amount.

Deposits for lay-by or reserved goods are subject to the same restocking fee and are non-refundable after 7 days.

Refunds via bank transfer are processed within 3 working days; refunds via Shopify or PayPal may take up to 10 working days. Refunds for store credit/gift card purchases are issued as store credit/gift card only.


Non-Refundable / Non-Exchangeable Items

  • Clearance, factory seconds, and custom-made products
  • Installed, altered, or modified items
  • Labour costs

Damaged or Faulty Products

We will replace damaged or faulty products. If a replacement is declined, refunds will follow the Change of Mind Policy or Refund Policy. 


Special Custom Orders

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to place special custom orders.


Free Storage Service

We offer free storage for your lighting items before installation. Notify our staff if you wish to use this service. Storage is free up to the agreed pickup date, with automatic extensions up to 30 days if needed. Use of this service means Change of Mind Policy will not apply.


Best Price Guarantee

We offer the best prices in the market. If you find a cheaper identical item locally in stock, we will match and beat the price. Proof of the competitor’s current advertised price is required.

Excludes trade quotes, stock liquidations, and commercial quantities.
